This site is meant to be an informative site, both for otherkin or people trying to learn more about them, as well as a community hub of sorts. We have a wide variety of articles written by a great diversity of people and otherkin types. If you have an article or article idea that you think would be a good fit for this site please use the contact form.
The site at this time is a bit simple, but we are hoping to develop it into a richer and more interactive site for the community.
Currently, the site is run by an admin, and a small group of editors and authors who have contributed pieces and support. Though the admin and authors all have their own beliefs and perspectives the site will try to be a place for rational discussion of these ideas, even if they do not match the beliefs of everyone.
About the admin
My identity is less important than this site. I have been in the otherkin community for over fifteen years. I have been involved with, and attended, a variety of otherkin or otherkin friendly conventions. I ran my city’s monthly otherkin gathering for many years, was part of the combined local otherkin/vampire community, and have spent years as a moderator or active member on various otherkin forums and e-lists. In my time in the community I have made many friends, but I also have people who I have constantly disagreed with with or butted heads with. As such I’m keeping my identity out of the spotlight so as to not discourage people who have had issues with me (and vice versa) from being put off from the site by ownership. The site is meant for otherkin, including those with whom have disagreed with me over the years. I do not want past issues interfering with this site and its purpose of supporting the community.
